Kual D'arsan was Force-sensitive Human that lived in the city of Maslovar on Desevro in the Outer Rim. From a young age, Kual D'Arsan recognized his special abilities and realized that this was a secret best kept to himself. Kual's strength in the Force gave particular mental abilities that enabled him to excel in slicing, forging, and lockpicking - basically Kual's Force-sensitivity enabled him to become a pretty good spy.

As he grew up, Kual didn't develop into a physically imposing figure. However, when he ended up on Desevro, this did not impede him from being feared among the citizens of Maslovar. During his spying activities, Kual managed to collect a sizable collection of secrets pertaining to rich Desevrars. In order ensure his continued safety, Kual D'Arsan let these prominent figures know that if he did not access his personal databases weekly, the secrets stored within would published around the planet. Needless to say, there were many on Desevro who took great care in ensuring Kual D'Arsan was not harmed.
